"Also when just driving at a consistent speed on the highway, not
removing my foot from the gas, the car will just stop accellerating, as if I
took my foot off the gas completely. To get it working again I take my
foot off the pedal, and than press it again, and its all real jerky and
hesitant ."I had this exact issue. I tried so many different things, I datalogged to
see which sensor was out of whack and I couldn't come up with anything.
I finally switched out the ECU and the problem was resolved. I don't
know for sure what the issue was with the ECU, but my best guess is that
something inside got messed with when I hooked an emulator up to it. I
think the ribbon probably bent or broke something inside the ECU
causing my problems. If you know someone with an extra ECU (or
borrow one from someone's car to test it) you could see if it fixes your
problem.
